The Park Jamestown (formally known as the Jamestown Country Retreat Caravan Park) is located on the banks of the Belalie Creek, under the shade of magnificent River Red Gums. The Park is conveniently located 200m from the local shopping precinct, walking trails and is adjacent to the local swimming pool. At approximately 210 kilometres from Adelaide, The Park Jamestown is an ideal place to stay when exploring the Southern Flinders Rangers and Clare Valley, or en-route to the Flinders Ranges and the outback.
The Park offers a range of accommodation to suit your needs. There are five en-suite studio cabins and two family cabins each with 2 bedrooms. All linen is provided. They have split system reverse cycle air conditioning, cooking facilities, kettle, toaster, refrigerator, television and outdoor setting. One cabin is disabled accessible. The cabins are non-smoking.
The Park Jamestown also has shady powered and unpowered sites, lawned camping area and modern clean amenities. Disabled amenities are located in the rear of the laundry amenities building. Other features of The Park Jamestown include coin operated laundry, shop and tourist information outlet.
The spectacular Bundaleer Forest is just 10 minutes drive to the south and offers hiking, nature play, bike trails, picnic tables and public toilets. To the north-east is the naturally beautiful and tranquil Appila Springs offering picnic tables, public toilets, and educational information boards alongside the calming water of the natural spring.
